Situated off the Senapati Bapat Road, the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Nursery School was started in 1988 under the umbrella of Bhavan's Pune Kendra in a spacious, well built academic building specially designed for the school. At present the Nursery School is called Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Chhabria Nursery School, sponsored by Finolex. Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Chhabria Nursery School aims to provide education through the English medium focussing specially on Indian Culture and discipline. It aims to produce a niche, stimulating and satisfying environment to the children for its promotion of an all round development. This school believes in activity based teaching. The teachers in this school provide experience from which the children can learn. The teachers work in small groups with the children; group activities such as singing, story telling, cognitive games, readiness activites etc. are held in an excellent and interesting manner. Children of Sr. KG. are exposed to the computers once a week. A wealth of experiences related to the interest of the children are provided by the teachers which help to broaden the child's field of conceptualizing and thereby promotes language and thinking abilities.
