The Institute

With the tremendous revolution in the field of Computers, Computer knowledge is becoming essential today in our day to day life. Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, an International Educational & Cultural Organisation started a Computer Institute in the year 1995 to provide quality computer education to young students from schools and colleges with a minimum fee structure.

Today, personal computers are excellent tools for empowering human beings around the world, and especially to help people find more and better jobs.

The establishment of the Institute has come at a juncture when the country looks forward to the application of the fruits of science and technology to bring about a new revolution in the twenty first century. The spread of computer literacy has become indispensable if the economy needs to be modernized.

Besides Computer Education, the Institute is also involved in developing different education softwares for school children on different subjects.

  2. Wide Area Network with high speed Servers.

Courses offered
Mainly the Computer Institute is involved in providing computer education to school children and as many as 1500 children from Sr. KG. to Std. X, of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Sulochana Natu Vidya Mandir & Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Chhabria Nursery School are learning computers with the Institute.

  1. The Institute also offers basic computer courses for people from different professions and it has made more than 200 people computer literate till date. The basic course is of three months duration and it consists of :
    1. Computer Fundamentals.
    2. Word Processors.
    3. Spread Sheets.
    4. Presentation Softwares
    5. Internet Basics.
    6. System Analysis and Design.
    After completion of the course the student can independently make use of the Computer for his office work.
  2. Another course is also conducted to train young and ambitious journalists so that they can make use of development in Information and technology in their field.
